Language requirements:

For teaching/working language, please look at the information which is presented in the academic proposal for each position of mobility. We do not ask for language certificate.

 

 

Necessary Documents:  Замечания о документах, необходимых для применения:

  • Resumé (i.e. CV) should be in English or in Russian;
  •  For aspirants/Post-Doc and staff mobility, research proposal in English or Russian/Teaching/Studying proposals should be presented;
  •  No letter is required for acceptance. In other cases we launch evaluation of all the applications and look for local academic advisor for your mobility. 
  • We do not require certified translation of the diploma or verbatim while submitting the documents and during the selection stage. Legalisation of documents is necessary only for Bachelor, Master and PhD programmes.

 

Academic requirements:

  • For full Bachelor (34 months): Diploma of High school
  • For full Master (24 months): Diploma of Bachelor
  •  For full Doctorate (from 31 to 34 months): Diploma of Master
  • For Post-Doctorates: doctorate or 3 years of experience in research field.
  • For teaching staff: proven experience in the field of research. Recommendation letter from the Institution is recommended.

 

NB: Post-doc /Staff: important Information

The invitation letter is not necessary in the first stage, though it is recommended during the institutional evaluation and selection stage. Moreover, finding 1 or several professors, who work on the topic of your interest (please mention it in your motivation letter) is also recommended: It will make the evaluation work easier and will give you more chance to get positive evaluation.

 

 

 

Information before and after arriving:

 

Invitation:

All the beneficiaries will receive informative letters, as soon as the selection process finishes. They will be informed about arrival details and further procedures, which need to be followed.

Administration of international affairs will issue an invitation letter to get Visa, andtakecontact with the embassy and consulate for visa support.   

 

Accommodation:

The International Relation Department of KSU will suggest some accommodation options for grantees. The Grantee needs to fill in an online application or send a letter to get accommodation suggestions from KSU services. Once the application is accepted the contract will be signed.  

 

Canteen and Food:

Students are served on the same basis. A wide range of national and European food is served on the same basis for students and teachers.

 

Arriving information:

Before their arrival, all beneficiaries will be provided with detailed information about the transportation from the airport to Khujand and the practical procedures to be followed at the beginning of their stay.

 

Registration:

Registration permit will be carried out for all recipients within 3 working days after their arrival in Tajikistan. The Department of International Affairs of the University is located in the administration building. They are ready to help foreign students and researchers in the preparation of all required documents in a timely manner.

 

Language courses:

Paid courses (for a reasonable price) can be organised in Russian, English and Tajik for grantees.
