Language Requirements:
The proficiency in English is required. We don’t require any certificates.



Remarks on the DOCUMENTS REQUIRED for the application:


  • Application form in English or Russian;
  • Copy of a Diploma;
  • Recommendation letter;
  • Nomination letter of sending University;
  • Motivational letter
  • for PhD and Staff mobility an English version of the research /teaching/training proposal must be submitted;
  • for Exchange Bachelor (6 -10 months): High School diploma, certificate of enrollment from sending university
  • for Exchange Master ( 6-10 months): Bachelor Degree, certificate of enrollment from sending university
  • for Sandwich Doctorate ( 6-10 months): Master Degree, certificate of enrollment from sending university
  • for Teaching Staff: proved experience in the Study Field you apply for, letter of support from Host Institution is recommended, certificate of employment




Academic Requirements:

Information before and after arrival:

The grantees will be provided with visa support in order to obtain a Study Visa to Kazakhstan. To arrange it we need the following documents from the applicant:

-       Copy of Passport

-       Application for visa support in English

-       Copy of Ticket Reservation

Invitation letter:
All grantees will be send Invitation letters together with the visa support number as soon the selection process is over.

Further they will be provided with the necessary information concerning their stay in Kazahkstan.

The grantees will be offered a room in the University campus dormitories. The applicants must point out in the application form that they are in need of an accommodation.

Arrival Information:

On their arrival the grantees must visit the International Academic Mobility Support Office in order to register as a foreign student and citizen within 3 working days.

Degree seeking students will be regularly enrolled through a facilitated procedure dedicated to Erasmus Mundus students.

Language Courses:
Kazakh and Russian language courses are organized in case of necessity for all the grantees by the University Language Center.
